Fantastic Sams featured in Burlington County Times

Fantastic Sams was recently featured in an article in the Burlington County News titled, “Fantastic Sams expanding in southern New Jersey.” The article was built from interviews with Jay Schwartzkopf and Bob Armstrong, both local franchise owners of Fantastic Sams in the area. Jay has two Fantastic Sams locations in Burlington County, New Jersey in Evesham and Lumberton and Bob Armstrong just opened his first Fantastic Sams in Pennsauken. Each attest to the recession-resistant business model that franchising with Fantastic Sams has provided and as both of the men were in business prior to becoming a Fantastic Sams franchisee, they both welcome the support and continued education that the system provides. Call it diversifying your portfolio or simply trying a new brand.

For owners of the Fantastic Sams hair salons franchises, it means opportunity during a slump in the economy.

“While many brands protected their spending in 2009, we continued to market, spend, and grow our brand,” said Scott Colabuono, CEO of the Beverly, Mass.-based company, in a statement. “Even during this down-turned economy, there is opportunity. Our business model of affordable in-salon services combined with our investment model continued to drive franchise inquiries and our salon opening pipeline.”

Just ask franchisee Jay Schwartzkopf, a Hainesport resident, about Fantastic Sams.

  1. I have had by far THE WORST experiance at the Fantastic Sams in Milliani in oahu! I went in do get a perm and my hair was completly ruined, it was horrible :( it took many weeks and hours to finally get my hair "restored" to its orginal state. It will NEVER be "restored" my hair is fried beyond belief! & the worst part is wgen the OWNER of the salon attempted to fix my hair he straight permed it & did such a half as$ job parts are still curlt....and the cut was a complete bucher job! And after all this the owner refuses to refund me my money! I cant believe how unprofessional this man is an he is still ignoreing my calls & refuses to make right by this. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO FANSYATIC SAMS and I will be sure.to let my entire family and friends and anyone I meet about my experiance about this salon!!
