Fantastic Sams featured in Nashua Telegraph

Fantastic Sams was recently featured in the Nashua Telegraph in an article entitled, “Salon Chain Wants its Cut.” Despite the economic climate deterring business growth, Fantastic Sams has continued to grow opening 35 salons in 2010 and on pace to open more than 35 in 2011. New Hampshire is one of the largest growth markets for the 1,200-plus-unit chain, with the potential to open 20 statewide and specifically 3 or 4 in Nashua County. With tremendous success in Manchester, N.H., local franchisee Jeanne Degen has led the brand in the region as its sole franchisee and stylist educator. She has seen an uptick in business as consumers are looking for a high quality yet affordable salon to satisfy a wide variety of needs as Fantastic Sams is one of the leading full-service hair salons in the U.S. Additionally, with each salon employing between 10 to 15 people at each location, this new found growth will provide a new flow of job creation in the market as well.
